Hello readers, RayMan36 here with a summary of the hats for Mardi Gras this year.
I. Mardi Gras Bow Tie- 9/10
|Sorry I'm not using 3D.|
II. Happy Golden Jester- 10/10
I like this hat because it looks nice, it's colorful, and relatively cheap: 250 Robux. It was my favorite hat of the sale.It has highly detail features and a great texture with additions such as shine on the crown and shading on the cheeks.
III. Mardi Gras Jester- 8/10
This hat was the only profitable limited of the Mardi Gras sale. It is colorful, cheap, but is just a flat mask, not like Happy Golden Jester. Priced at R$ 250, it made a small amount of profit for the private sellers.
IV. Lion Mardi Gras Mask- 10/10
I like this hat because it reflects the "hugeness" of Mardi Gras. It's a big, feathery mask, and it looks extremely detailed with a gemstone in the middle acting as the finishing touch. It was affordable; priced at only R$ 100
V. Gold Mardi Gras Mask-7/10
This hat looked nice, and was R$ 500. The biggest problem is the price of the item, being a large amount higher than the other Mardi Gras items released. It is also extremely small meaning it it dwarfed by your character's head.
VI. Mardi Gras Beads- 10/10
First off, any hat that is 10 Tickets is a 10/10. These beads are a staple of the holiday, and ROBLOX did well by making any user afford them - reminding me of classic tickets hats that didn't just involve cap after cap... after cap.
VII. King of Mardi Gras- 9/10
This was a less profitable limited (thanks to taxes), and for a slightly unreasonable price of 1,000 Robux. Arbirator and Zakkeh seem to like it, and one can see why: It's just like the Lion's Mask. It's big and hefty, and great for hat combos with an excellent peacock style feather and golden emblem.
Overall Sale:These Mardi Gras items were pretty fantastic, with users seeing a return to releases of batches of similar themed hats in one weekend. There was an item for every user, and it celebrated the Mardi Gras festival well. We got to indulge in beads, flamboyant feathery hats and masquerade masks. Maybe we'll have the same thing for St. Patricks' Day!
